JACOPA FLOW CONTROL
Climate change means flows are increasingly erratic and extreme, so flow control devices that allow water quantities to be safely managed are increasingly popular. Jacopa’s stainless steel flow regulators can be used in foul and surface water sewers, rivers and attenuation ponds, ensuring that flows passing downstream are controlled and the potential for flooding is limited. Constant discharge throughout the required head range also minimises the volume of upstream attenuation needed, and powered versions are available that can monitor flow depths via ultrasonic transducers. These are used within the control programme to calculate the aperture opening and maintain flow rates downstream.
