Jacopa is led by a professional management team with many years of experience working in the UK and Ireland wastewater industry.

ALEX LLOYD, MANAGING DIRECTOR

I have 25 years’ experience in the water industry, and in management of product, technology and contracting businesses in global water markets with some of the industry’s leading names.
I’m also a Chartered Engineer, with postgraduate diplomas in Engineering Management and Law, and I hold the IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
I am responsible firstly for compliance – meeting legal and best practice requirements for working in the industry, especially for Health and Safety. I also have operational responsibility for ensuring that the business meets it objectives, and above all satisfies its customers and suppliers. My post also involves making sure that the business works on a long-term basis with customers and in the market, delivering continuous improvement and added value. I also have strategic responsibility for meeting future market demands and customer requirements. When time permits I play some golf, and try to keep reasonably fit by cycling.

PETER SARGENT, FINANCE DIRECTOR

I joined the company in 2010, and my role is to work with all departments of the business to ensure they understand what the budgets are, how the company is performing and what needs to be achieved. I also have overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of company strategy.
I qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) almost 20 years ago and have worked in various finance roles within SMEs over the years.
Outside work I enjoy most sports, when my children allow me the occasional spare moment. I am also no stranger to disappointment, being a life-long supporter of West Bromwich Albion FC.

TONY HINTON, QHSE MANAGER

Having worked in the water sector for almost 20 years, I joined the organisation  in 2012 from a Tier1 MEICA & Process contractor, where I had been managing Construction activities on multiple sites in England and Northern Ireland. I have over 25 years of experience in various levels of management and responsibility for QHSE. I am NEBOSH qualified in Construction Management, Environmental Management and Fire Safety. I am responsible for ensuring our ongoing compliance with applicable legislation and industry led best practice as well as assuring the current status of our integrated Business Management System. Equally focusing on managing risk for our activities and the ability of our site teams to consistently meet the requirements of CDM. Outside of work, whilst trying to stay relatively fit, I enjoy the outdoors and classic & modern sports cars.
