Jones+Attwood Washpactor-Jet™ System

The Jones+Attwood Washpactor-Jet™ system washes screened solids prior to final compaction. This eradicates much of the faecal matter that would otherwise foul the dewatered waste product. Screenings can be delivered to the Washpactor by conventional conveyor system or the more efficient launder method.

Available in 4 standard sizes.

The Washpactor-Jet unit can either sit directly beneath the screen discharge point and process screened solids immediately following removal from the incoming flow, or located away from the screens to meet any site specific conditions. Liquids drained from the Washpactor-Jet unit are either channelled to a localised works drainage system or fed back into the incoming effluent flow

Benefits and Features of the Washpactor Jet include:

  • Designed to accept water-borne solids from screening systems
  • High quality stainless steel construction
  • Automatic cleaning system for dewatering screenings
  • High capacity mechanical / electrical drive system with ample overload capacity
  • Internal wash system with automatic on / off flow control
  • Range of outlet chute arrangements to suit most collection methods
  • Robust screw mechanism operates in a perforated plate trough
  • Exclusive steady bearing fitted at the discharge and compaction end of the screw
  • High-rated drive end thrust and radial bearings
  • Accepts launder or screw convayor transfer system.
