JACOPA WIN SCOTTISH WATER SAF FRAMEWORK CONTRACT

Wastewater treatment systems and solutions experts Jacopa have won a key framework contract with Scottish Water to provide their robust, high performance modular SAF systems for a five-year period.

The contract, which has an option to extend the agreement for a further three years, was won following a highly competitive procurement process. Jacopa will provide its robust, high performance Copa® SAF, which has a proven performance record supported by 20 years of development.

The solution has proved extremely popular throughout the UK wastewater industry because it is easy to use, produces an excellent quality of effluent from start-up, and is able to handle widely fluctuating flows and loads.

Jacopa has a long history of working closely with Scottish Water on many previous contracts, including the recent completion of its 100th SAF installation for the utility.

Jacopa Managing Director Alex Lloyd said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this contract, which highlights Scottish Water’s confidence both in our SAF solution and our own determination to provide the best possible service to our partners.”

“Jacopa’s Copa® SAF is a sustainable and flexible solution that is well aligned with Scottish Water’s aims, as the utility works to provide the best possible value for money to their customers and the best, most reliable treatment solutions available.”
