SuDS SHOWCASE FOR JACOPA
With resilience now firmly and officially on the UK water and wastewater industry agenda the ability to plan for and cope with extreme climate events in order to maintain services and avoid potential disruption is vital for water utilities. The WWT Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) Conference on the 1st of May in Birmingham will therefore provide Jacopa with the ideal platform to showcase the company’s innovative solutions to help water companies address the challenges of flood prevention.
Over 150 of the industry’s most influential figures will attend the prestigious event at the Birmingham Conference & Events Centre. Jacopa will present various state-of-the-art solutions including the Steinhardt HydroStyx that automatically controls retention by utilising the unused storage within the existing sewerage system to prevent flash flooding.
The company will also feature the iconic Steinhardt HydroSlide, flow regulators, these highly accurate units regulate flows within foul and surface water sewers, rivers and other watercourses, providing a constant discharge through the required head range to meet permitted downstream flow conditions. Both the renowned HydroSlide energy free, flow regulators and the advanced ElectroSlide powered flow regulators are now exclusively available in the UK from Jacopa.
