WELL QUALIFIED FOR WELL BEING
Jacopa is celebrating the achievement of senior administrator, Lesley Wassell, who has been awarded the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) National Certificate in the Management of Health and Well-being at Work, with credit.
NEBOSH administers and awards a comprehensive range of globally recognised qualifications designed to meet health, safety and environmental management needs across the workplace. The National Certificate in the Management of Health and Well-being at Work provides a wide understanding of health and well-being issues that affect workplaces, and enables the risks arising to be managed effectively.
The qualification is designed to give managers and others the skills and knowledge to tackle health and well-being issues at work. Lesley took the course because she had experience of and wanted to further the company’s highly regarded well-being programme, which complements the Company’s existing health and safety programmes. The challenging course of study was followed by workplace assessment and a written exam.
Jacopa Managing Director, Alex Lloyd said, “We are very proud of Lesley’s achievement, which connects extremely well with our existing health and safety strategy. We aim for continuous improvement in health, safety and personal well-being all of which we regard as extremely important components of the company’s relationship with its employees and successful partnership with industry.”
