JACOPA ISSUES IT’S COVID-19 CHARTER

Wastewater treatment systems and solutions experts Jacopa have undertaken a wide range of actions to ensure that the company complies with the government’s guidance on managing the risk of COVID-19, and confirmed by issuing its COVID-19 Charter

The Charter confirms that Jacopa has undertaken the five key steps outlined by the government to ensure safer working together. The company has:

  • Carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and shared the results with the people who work there
  • Initiated cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures in line with guidance
  • Taken all reasonable steps to help people work from home
  • Taken all reasonable steps to maintain a 2m distance in the workplace
  • Done everything practical to manage transmission risk where people cannot be 2m apart

Jacopa Managing Director Alex Lloyd says: “Ensuring the safety of our people, and those we contact that are working within our supply chain and for our customers, is of paramount importance to us. COVID-19 is an ongoing major threat, and we have worked extremely hard to ensure that we minimise the risks wherever possible.”
